Terry Stiles

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Terry Stiles has been at the helm of this multi-faceted organization since 1971. The once-small residential construction company, originally formed by his father, Howard K. Stiles, in 1951, has seen tremendous growth under Terry’s direction. Headquartered in his hometown of Fort Lauderdale, he has grown the full-service real estate company to one of the largest in the Southeast. With over 30 million square feet completed, Terry and his 500-person strong organization have garnered numerous awards for development and construction projects, including mixed-use office, residential and retail developments, build-to-suit facilities, and master-planned, mixed-use corporate parks.

Well-respected by his peers within the industry, Terry has a history of being at the forefront of real estate trends, such as building the first master-planned corporate park in Broward County. Stiles has a presence in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Tampa, and Fort Myers with more than 6 million square feet in progress.

 

Terry was recently presented the Industry Leader of the Year award by University of Florida. He has also received numerous awards and honors from peers in his industry, including National Developer of the Year in 2000 from NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Properties); NAIOP South Florida Chapter Developer of the Year in 1990, 1993, 1997, 1999, 2003; and distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award in 1997. Terry is currently an active member of the Broward County Airport Advisory Council, Broward Workshop, and the Board of Directors for Jack & Jill Children’s Center.

 

Doug Eagon

President


Doug Eagon oversees all activities relating to operations, investments, and finances of the Corporation and its multiple divisions. A long-time veteran of Stiles, Eagon joined the company in 1981, bringing with him an extensive background of urban planning and governmental experience. Before joining Stiles, he served as a city planner for both the City of Fort Lauderdale Planning Department and the Broward County Office of Planning.

Among his career accomplishments are innovative development projects such as Corporate Park at Cypress Creek, located within the uptown area of Fort Lauderdale; Sawgrass International Corporate Park in west Broward County; downtown Fort Lauderdale's prestigious office, retail, and residential towers, 300 Las Olas Place, Las Olas Centre, New River Center, One Blockbuster Plaza, Bank of America Plaza at Las Olas City Centre, and 350 Las Olas Place; as well as the award-winning Sunrise Harbor in Fort Lauderdale, the prestigious residential, retail, and marina complex located on the Intracoastal Waterway.

Jim Stine

Chief Investment Officer

Jim Stine coordinates the focus and objectives of Stiles' real estate development, leasing, asset management and property management departments.

Formerly President of Stiles Capital Group, Stine was responsible for asset management activities including arranging and executing all project financing as well as the acquisition and disposition of assets from the Company's portfolio. As a result of Stine's leadership and accomplishments, Stiles Corporation enjoys a respected reputation and long-standing relationships with numerous financial institutions and investment groups.

Steve Palmer

Chief Operations Officer

With over twenty-nine years of service to Stiles, Steve Palmer has grown with the company from its early years to its present role as an industry leader. Hired as an estimator in 1979, Palmer held such positions as Project Manager, Construction Manager, Vice President and then President of Stiles Construction Co. prior to assuming his current role as Chief Operating Officer in early 1994.

As President of Stiles Construction Co., Palmer was instrumental in guiding the company's growth to become a highly innovative and sophisticated general contractor. Through his efforts, Stiles Construction Co. acquired major contracts for the construction of design/build assignments, independent contracting jobs and development projects currently totaling more than $1 billion.

Robert Esposito

Chief Accounting & Administrative Officer

As Chief Administration and Accounting Officer (CAAO), Robert Esposito draws on 20 years of experience in the financial sector. He is responsible for all administrative and risk management functions, as well as financial reporting and accounting support for all Stiles departments and for the company’s real estate investment portfolio.

Prior to joining Stiles in 1994 as controller, Esposito worked in public accounting for seven years, assisting a wide range of clients, including real estate firms, financial institutions and construction companies. With Stiles, he has deployed effective cost containment and financial reporting systems across all levels of the organization to help drive profitability. He became Stiles CAAO in May 2008.

 

Ken Stiles

Director of Real Estate Finance

Ken Stiles serves as lender relations manager and is a member of the board of directors of Stiles. In his role as lender relation manager, Ken is responsible for ongoing communication with all Stiles financial services partners and works directly with the Stiles investment team to identify new business opportunities. As a board member, he works closely with fellow members in the development and implementation of the company’s 50 year sustainability and growth plan. Ken also has additional board of director responsibility as part of the leadership team that oversees the Stiles family investment portfolio.

Rocco Ferrera

President, Financial Services

As President of Stiles Capital Group, Rocco Ferrera is responsible for the strategic planning, direction and oversight of all properties owned or controlled by Stiles or its related partnerships. Under his direction, highly specialized professionals handle the acquisition, JV structure, financing, asset management, property management, and disposition of real estate. The Capital Group arranges all development and investment capital as well as negotiates all purchase and sale contracts, due diligence, and other legal documents related to any transaction.

 

Robert R. Breslau

President, Acquisitions & Development

Robert Breslau joined Stiles in 1988 and in early 1994 he progressed to his current role as President of Stiles Retail Group. As President, Breslau is responsible for all new development of various retail and mixed use projects, such as supermarket-anchored shopping centers, “big box” retail projects, community centers, power centers and lifestyle projects.

With Stiles, Breslau has developed a highly respected track record of consistent success in negotiating national, regional and local tenant leases and shopping center development. He is responsible for leasing more than 2,420,000 square feet of retail space and developing more than 1,450,000 square feet of retail space in Florida alone.

Denny O'Shea

President, Real Estate Strategic Services

As President of Stiles Development Co., Denny O’Shea oversees a staff of project managers and support personnel for the development of office, industrial and retail projects. He is responsible for project conceptualization, financial analysis, governmental approvals, architectural and construction coordination, and tenant lease up. Stiles has more than four million square feet of product under development.

 

O'Shea has been active in South Florida's development community for 24 years, beginning his career in construction and developmental law. Denny is presently a member of the Downtown Council and has served as Chairman of both the Economic Development Council of Broward County and the City of Ft. Lauderdale’s Unsafe Structures Board. A Fort Lauderdale native, Denny studied economics at Harvard and is a graduate of the University of Florida School of Law.

 

David Siegel

President, Stiles Asset Services

As President of Stiles Asset Services, David Siegel oversees Development, Realty and Property Management Divisions of Stiles. Previously, as Vice President of Development, he oversaw the development of the Sawgrass International Corporate Park which included the suburban office projects of International Place Phase I-III, Lake Shore Plaza Phase I & II and Martin Professional Lighting, an Industrial Build-to-Suit. Additionally, he oversaw the development of Huntington Corporate Park which included Huntington Centre Phase I & II and Miramar Medical Building.

Siegel, prior to his promotion, was responsible for project conceptualization, financial analysis, site plan and government approvals, as well as permitting and coordination of the architectural, engineering and construction phases of the project, including the leasing and property management of the facility and the corporate parks.

Jeff Peal

President, Stiles Architectural Group

As President of Architecture 6400, Jeff Peal supervises a professional team of architects, space planners and CADD operators. Joining Stiles in 1980, Jeff served as an integral part of the original architecture team at Stiles, progressing to Vice President before attaining his current position as President. Under his direction, the company provides full architectural services for commercial, industrial and retail projects. These services range from land master planning, exterior/interior design, building renovation, and ultimately producing functional, cost effective and aesthetically pleasing designs, many of which have won prestigious Community Appearance Awards.

Tim Moore

President, Stiles Construction

As President of Stiles Construction Co. since 1994, Tim Moore is directly responsible for Stiles Construction Co. and its associated operations throughout Florida. Having joined Stiles immediately after graduating from college, Moore has held numerous previous positions in which he developed his construction knowledge and expertise including Vice President Preconstruction (1991-1994), Senior Estimator (1988-1991), Chief Project Estimator (1985-1988), and Project Manager (1983-1985). With over 25 years of experience, Moore's extensive and comprehensive background with each and every phase of construction is highly evident.

Thomas R. Kates

President, Stiles Realty

Tom Kates joined Stiles in 1984 as Vice President of Leasing and Marketing, which led to his current role as President of Stiles Realty Co. since 1988. Under his direction, Stiles Realty Co. has become one of the most respected and productive real estate brokerages in South Florida and one of the largest based in Broward County. Through his guidance and leadership, Stiles Realty Co. has been responsible for more than 1,800 sales and lease transactions, totaling over 14 million square feet of space.

Chris Rotolo

President, Stiles Property Management

Chris Rotolo, President of Stiles Property Management, brings more than 20 years of commercial property management experience. Prior to joining Stiles, Ms. Rotolo was the district manager for Gaedeke Landers, Ltd. in Fort Lauderdale, overseeing 15 Class A office buildings and a staff from Miami to Washington, DC. Her duties included the reviewing and monitoring of financial and property operations, supervising personnel and tenant relations, and assisting in property acquisitions.

Currently, she manages executive responsibilities for Stiles’ entire portfolio of properties as well as all three divisions of Stiles Property Management, including tenant improvements, maintenance, and management. The Stiles portfolio represents more than six million square feet of office, industrial, and retail space throughout Florida.
